Incredible location, far enough from the buzzing Osaka city landscape, but close enough and easily accessible through the HK tramline. The hosts were amazing, foreign friendly and always trying to accommodate my every need. I was very happy to have opted for the breakfast included option, it was the best thing I have started my days with in a long time: delicious, nutritious and healthy.
The room was everything I have hoped for and more. It was my first time experiencing sleeping in a futon on tatami and it was so worth it. Loved it so much!
The simplicity used in the room arrangement and decoration is a plus, both aesthetic and practical.
I promised myself to come back to Sakai and Sakainoma in my next trip to Japan!
I wish I can elevate my Japanese knowledge till next time so I can interact more with the hosts and maybe participate to the events they hold in the cafe area. The music and atmosphere I experienced during my stay proved once again that Japanese people really know how to have fun and spend quality time in the company of true art and beauty.

It's just the coolest freaking vibe. And the garden is truly an oasis in the city. Genuinely, this hostel is why I come to Osaka, not the other way around.
Me and Ootah-chan will be back!

Excellent location. Close to metro & a lot of restaurants within walking distance.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location and price. They were able to accommodate my request to be on the side of the hotel facing away from the trains so it was nice and quiet.
Quiet,easy access to train station.
Clean and nice room with periodic cleaning services provided by host.
Very helpful & organised host
Room is spacious and functional
Surely will consider to book the unit again on our future trip
Traditional Japanese style with fold out futons and Japanese bathroom. Great location with Lawsons below and train station 2 minute walk. Owner went above and beyond to help us fi d a phone which we lost in a taxi. Greatly appreciated
The service was great! I was a bit too late for my check-in, but the host kindly came back as quick as possible to help me get in the house. It was such a beautiful room and everything was nice and clean. Unfortunately I came in very late and had to leave early in the dark the next morning, so I could not enjoy the nice little garden. The lights in front of the building were very welcoming though!
Not much. First place we went was rundown and dingy. Host moved us to second property which although slightly newer, was still pretty disappointing. Host was friendly and trying to be helpful but this did not make up for state of property.
