This was the most welcoming stay in Japan that I experienced.
We came in the evening and the host provided us a ride to a nearby mall to eat and the big spa facility where we could spend time for free using a coupon that they gave us.
Breakfast was also very good. Nice place

The house was very spacious in a quiet street. Decor was eclectic and quirky. Shower has good water pressure and continuously hot. Great washing machine and dryer to get through big loads of laundry whilst on the road.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed by the staff. Minami-chan was so kind and told me all about local places to check out, including where to get dinner and breakfast. There is also a cafe at the guest house and it was a comfortable area to relax outside of my room. The decor and architecture of the home are traditional and modern at the same time. It’s so beautiful, warm and charming!!
Welcoming staff and charming decor, amazing location that’s super accessible from the station and in close proximity to Setogura and shopping streets (lots of food options).
Awesome guest house, absolutely loved it!
It's a traditional japanese house and the owners are very friendly, even speak a bit of english!
You can get snacks and drinks inside the house, and the train station is like a 10min walk.
I extended my stay 3 times!
Thank you for the nice stay!
