Accomodation was a beautiful log cabin in the Miyazaki countryside! The facilities were clean and modern, and the bed was so comfortable!! There were so many thoughtful touches, like having spare pairs of crocs outside the cabin, having salt and cooking oil in the kitchen, having tea and coffee sachets. You can also park directly in front of your cabin which is very convenient. We reserved the course dinner offered by the host and it was delicious!! The host was also the chef (and the bartender) and we had a great time chatting to him in English and Japanese about the locally sourced ingredients and his very well-stocked bar. Thanks for such a lovely night Keita!! Next time we will need to stay even longer, so we can use the fireplace and enjoy more of the peaceful countryside. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend El Campo.

Quirky, fun guesthouse. There were a couple of nice sitting areas, full kitchen and we had a spacious room. We made use of the washing machine. The owner is energetic, English speaking and helping to keep the small town going. It was wonderful experience and we enjoyed the company of the other guests.

We arrived very late after check-in unfortunately and the gentleman who runs the show was a little annoyed but forgave us quickly and still was very helpful and kind even though it was late. Place was beautiful and homey which was nice. Thanks again to the cool gentleman, you were great.
