The food is amazing! The best food ((highlight) of our 12-day trip. It beats all the fancier meals we have paid for.
We love how the host sets up the meals at windows with different amazing natural views every time. The food itself is beyond expectations. I did not even like vegetarian food before, but I love their food. The Kaiseki style has many varieties of courses, and everything is delicious. We especially like the tempura of local greens found in this mountain.

Host was very kind, provided details on meeting spot before arrival as it can be hard to find at first in the mountains. Also checked in during our stay to make sure everything was comfortable.
The property is such good value for money, beautiful wooden interior with a floor-to-ceiling window looking out into the forest. Bathtub is divine. Wifi, bluetooth speaker both added to the atmosphere. There is a fireplace too in case you stay in the cooler months. Highly recommend!

Great facilities. The kitchen has everything you need and more. I could do my laundry and the AC/heater is very efficient without making any noise.
Host was super nice and helpful. Speaks perfect English. He even taught me how to make Takoyaki!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Seaside hotel. Able to see the beautiful sun rising from the sea level. The hotel has a notice on the timing of the sunset and sunrise. Quiet neighborhood with some restaurants nearby. I love it when I didn’t see any tourists other than Japanese themselves which make us feel like locals. Love the onsen.
Michael was very helpful during check-in and provided many great recommendations for restaurants and attractions close to the guesthouse. Would definitely stay here again.
Cleanest guest house I've stayed in thus far. Home away from home. Room is spacious and clean. Ofuro/onsen is also very clean. Family friendly with lots of toys for children to play with.
It was a very good experience. I booked a good guesthouse and a good owner. The house is very nice and warm. It has everything you should have. It is very cost-effective. I really want to stop for a few more days
Michael is an amazing host (thanks also for the restaurant recommendations!) and the place is beautiful. The local herbal tea on offer in the kitchen is great too!
The guesthouse is clean and cozy. Also the interior looks very nice! The owner is a very friendly person, he gave me many tips where to go in yonago. I enjoyed my stay a lot and are looking forward to come again.
