United StatesIt was a 2 minute walk from the station. Our host was very helpful with allowing us to leave our luggage there earlier in the day before we checked in and he made good recommendations on where to visit. We got the onsen pass ♨️ and where able to enjoy some very relaxing soaking.
The facility was very quiet and a great value for our money.

We had only booked bed and breakfast, and our rooms were well appointed and spacious, with views overlooking Gero. The Japanese breakfast was plentiful and good quality. The public Onsen had inside and outside pools which were spacious and relaxing, and very quiet when we visited. There is also a spacious bar, where you can use the Karaoke. Even if the communication was a bit difficult (They speak little english and I speak little japanese) they were always very kind and helpful. They are very friendly and accommodating for me and my sister (who is blind). Lovely waterfall hike nearby and onsens in the nearby town. Easily reached by train. Felt homely. The elctric blankets were amazing as well as the breakfast.
