United StatesNo fan, room is so hot. The beddings are terrible. The location is not safe in terms of stairs. The door locks are horrible. Safety is not their priority, just money. I would never recommend even to an enemy. The toilet is worse. Rusted toilet seat 🚽 you'd think twice before even seating on it. Not healthy 😕. No simple coffee making machine or even tea in the room. The shower, I can't even talk about how horrible it looked. Maintenance is poor. They just host. That's all they do, host but don't maintain the place.

The apartment had all the necessities, and the host, always a phone call away in case of anything, offered a wonderful welcome. I have found my home away from home while in Kisumu, and I highly encourage others to give this space a try while in town. The compound is quiet and serene, which I greatly appreciate.
