Peaceful, close to the ancient city.
We were able to use the fridge, there was a toaster and kettle. There was a nice shared space for eating a light meal.
Our host shared lots of good information, helped us rent bikes and on our last morning drove us to an important temple that we had missed then took us to the train station.

Breakfast was exceptional it was fresh and everything. stuff was very friendly. clean place and location was nice.prices are really good for what you paying for overall its good place.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
This cozy and comfortable guesthouse is located near a busy main road with shops and restaurants but it was quiet because it is hidden away on a peaceful side street right across a man-made lake. The room was spartan but spacious and extremely clean. Inoka and Pali are the kindest and nicest hosts that I have ever met. They would offer me tea with warm smiles whether I was coming or going. They rent very serviceable bikes which are ideal for a day long trip to explore the sacred city. Highly recommend!
Viraj was a great host, he organised some bicycles for us to get about the city, and even offered some free lifts to the bus station. Took the time to upgrade our room for a very reasonable price. His hotel is beautiful and in a nice quiet location just the right distance away from the hustle and bustle of Anuradhapura.
This was a large very clean room at a high standard. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a guide & tuktuk to the scared city , which I recommend. The guesthouse is on the edge of a lake. It’s quiet and there’s lots of places to eat nearby. I highly recommend staying here.
Coming from a no aircondition bb, we loved the rooms with aircondition! Very clean with large beds, soap available (not all places have that) and great location. Close to the new bus station, shops and supermarked, and still very quiet. The breakfast was cheap and delicious with plenty of food. Owner really friendly and even offered to take us to the old bus station upon departure. We would come back any time!
Everything. Really good accomodation. Clean & super comfortable. Sanjay was a great host. His cooking was fantastic at dinner & breakfast. Organised Lion beer for us which was real +.He arranged for a tuk tuk driver to take us to the ancient city within minutes of our arrival. In addition a taxi next day to our next stop off. As per usual in Sri Lanka always a smile & such friendliness. Overall great stop off guest house. You wont be disapointed.
Great location, in town but again surrounded by greens, peaceful and quiet. Takes you about 10 min. Into town by foot. The host was very helpful and his wife a very good cook!
Wasantha and his family are charming and great hosts. The house has a very tranquil courtyard garden which is a nice refuge from the heat of the day. The Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners are delicious and great value. Wasantha is a great source of information and he responds generously to all requests.. we loved our stay.
The guesthouse is like a family home, basic but nice (U pay for what U get). It located in a countryside, old city, beautiful and quiet area with few shop at 10min walk. The owner is a great host, he helped me to organise my stay in Sri Lanka, good conversation and he even cooked a great dinner for my last night. I definitely recommend this place!!
