The bathroom that separates the shower area from the toilet! This was the only place where we didn’t have to wipe up the toilet seat after taking a shower in Sri Lanka. The hot shower, cooling a/c, clean bed linens and towels,,things that are standard in the western countries are not always the case in Sri Lanka, so this was really a nice experience. The staff were really nice as well.

Beautiful, quiet and big rooms. Airconditioning, big comfy beds. Perfect base for safaris in udawalwe. The couple who own/run the place were extremely sweat, welcoming and helpful. They were very organized and responsive with arranging a safari for us. Dinner was delicious - a variety of local dishes cooked with produce grown in their garden. Would 100% recommend

Charming place and owners. The lake offers a lovely vista and ambience. The owners themselves were very attentive without becoming overbearing. They let us use the canoe, showed us how to collect fishing nets from the lake and made one of the best meals we had during our trip. We also booked a safari with the owner, that we can definitely recommend. He was very respectful of the animals and kept away from larger crowds. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful setting and Amila and his family were so kind and helpful. Food was delicious and very generous. They organized Safari for us with a picnic and good driver to pick us up and for safari. Would highly recommend!

It seriously was the absolute best stay I had in all sri lanka. The air conditioning is very strong, the water gets warm, and the staff is incredible in making sure you have the best stay possible. The safari they can arrange for you is a great price. Furthermore, some to note, is that all their food and dinners are made from ingredients from their own garden. Absolutely no artificial flavors and some of the best meals I had. I couldn't recommend this resort enough

We stayed at Chill House Safari resort and also did the safari with our host, Hashan. Our room and bathroom were clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by trees and wildlife while still close by the main road. We decided to have one meal at the accommodation and Hashan went out to find all the specific ingredients to make polos, which we really wanted to try. It was delicious!😋His wife and son were also very nice and always around.
Our safari tour with the family went great too! It’s totally worth it. We saw quite a lot of elephants and many other animals in the park. Hashan really knows his way around well and is great at spotting anyone hiding in the bushes or trees. He also answered all of our questions about the different species.

it is a small villa with fan and a/c, surrounded by a large and sumptuous garden, it is very quiet. there is a small corner by the lake to lie in a hammock. this little paradise is conducive to relaxation. I recommend
We stayed one night to do a Safari in Udawalawe. It was the perfect hotel for that. Walking distance to the Main Bus station.host was very friendly and arranged everything for us. We even got a delicious homemade breakfast to take with us. The service was outstanding! The room was very clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable - I would definitively recommend this place.
