It is only 200 meters to the lovely beach, which is not at all crowded and is safe for swimming. The hostess is a very good cook and all our dinners and breakfasts were served by her. The ceiling fans does a good job, but for a small extra charge we added AC, which was especially helpful between 6pm and bedtime, when the humidity kicks in.

Beautiful hotel and room. Location very close to the wonderful Talalla beach. Very nice owner who took very nice care of us. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Running hotel shower, which is not quite common in all hotels in Sri Lanka.

As a family we booked three rooms and we had the whole house for ourselves. We could use a fridge and the kitchen. The host lady was very nice, but did not speak English. Very pleasant, quiet place surrounded by garden. A simpler place, darker rooms.

During our trip to Sri Lanka we wanted to relax a bit by the sea and we couldn't have found a better place. The price-performance ratio was very good, we were very satisfied. Moreover, the beach and its surroundings were much nicer than we later saw further to the southeast. The owners were very nice and helpful. We also enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, where the owner guarded us with a slingshot and a pole from the monkeys, who immediately started to gather as soon as they saw the food.

beatifull large plot. looks absolutely charming. also the pools is spectacular, albeit not temp controlled. on side cooking local dishes was very tasty.

A nice, cozy place, really close to Dickwella beach. The apartment had everything we needed. For breakfast they took us to another place next to the ocean, where we had the best breakfast during our 3 week stay in Sri Lanka. Big thanks to Pramith, who was a really kind and caring host and helped us a lot.

- The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful - Salt House only serves food till about 2pm but it is delicious and well presented - The Yoga Studio on premises was a definite plus.
