The room Was simple but very clean and quiet with a large bathroom and good AC and wifi. The place is not luxurious but if you care about animal welfare you’ll be delighted to see how healthy and happy the cats (and a couple dogs) are being cared for. He’s doing really important work in a country where, unfortunately, cats and dogs are sadly neglected.

Amazing all around! I loved the property... the layout and all of the colorful murals and that every room had a place to sit outside of the room. The room itself was very spacious and clean. The fans were strong, although it was still a little warm in the evenings. The owner was amazing. He is such a great guy and very helpful. I booked the dolphin tour through him, which was a great price for value. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will always stay at lobster Inn whenever I'm in the area

We, a family of 5, came to stay for only 1 day at Javi Home but ended up staying 9 wonderful days!! The guest house is new so all facilities are clean. The beds are super comfortable. The AC works quietly and efficiently. There is a huge balcony/ lounge area outside of the bedroom where we spent a lot of time. There is a separate room for making tea and coffee. The owners are very very friendly!! We all enjoyed little Javi and his parents. Javi's mom speaks excellent English and we got to ask her a lot of questions about life and culture of Sri Lanka. She and her husband are one of the friendliest people we have met in Sri Lanka!!! The location is excellent. Very close to the amazing beach, grocery shops and good restaurants. Mallika Resort has a very good restaurant, where we ate often. The owners gladly helped us with directing and recommending places. The home is also very close to a Dutch Fort Frederick that had wild peacock and deer everywhere. You will NOT find anything that offers this great value for the cost. The place is VERY affordable. If we are ever back in Trinco we will gladly stay at Javi Holiday Home again! 😊
