Truly an exceptional hotel. Our room was amazing, it was very spacious and had the highest ceiling, it was quiet and comfortable. The Riad interiors are breathtaking. I really wish we stayed longer. Location is perfect. They serve a beautiful traditional breakfast. It was by far the best hotel/riad we stayed at in Morocco and one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

I can't recommend this place enough. Beautiful Riad with a quiet and charming atmosphere. They arranged a taxi to pick us up. Breakfast is very varied and tasty, omelett, cheese and sweets, juice and coffee. Location... perfect! Is south of the Medina close enough to the main street where you can get a taxi if exploring the outer part of the Medina. And what completes this experience is the wonderful attention and warm received by all the staff at the Riad, specially Khalid and Najib ( Julio Iglesias ). Don't think it over... stay here! This is a higher accommodation with great value. Wishing we will come back, Andres and Bobi.

Exceptional Stay at Palais Houyam I recently stayed at Palais Houyam and had an incredible experience. The hospitality and service provided by the staff were truly exceptional and made my stay memorable. They were always attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. The ambiance of Palais Houyam is unique and spectacular. The traditional Moroccan architecture combined with the outstanding staff creates a perfect blend of comfort and cultural immersion. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served every morning. The quality of the food was outstanding, offering a perfect start to each day. The rooftop terrace with its stunning views of the medina is another remarkable feature of this property. Overall, Palais Houyam offers an unparalleled experience with its exquisite design, excellent service, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fes.

It was our home away from home during our first visit to Morocco. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive. We had to check out early and Ali went out of his way to make us breakfast to go. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Brahim. I booked my first hammam (private) which was absolutely exceptional. The women working were very nice and professional. The location is great! Within 10 minute walking distance of everything in the Medina. Easy to find, even at night by myself. I felt safe during my stay. The community is very welcoming to outsiders. The breakfast was fantastic! So many options, even for a vegetarian. The rooftop terrace is always open and there’s plenty of seating with a great view of the Medina! I highly recommend booking the day tour of the Medina. It was honestly one of my favorite parts of my entire visit. It is of great value! Our tour guide was Said, and he was absolutely fabulous! Dar Victoria felt like home. There’s always someone there to answer the door at all times, day and night. The staff that Brahim has hired are all extremely dedicated to doing their best. They are all so welcoming and kind. I highly highly recommend! You will not regret. Thank you to everyone at Dar Victoria for making me feel at home during my first days in your beautiful country!

Great breakfast! Savory and sweet and at a shop along a main street so was great for people watching. The riad is very quiet despite being near a main avenue and is nicely decorated. Host is a down to earth, very nice man. Seems to know everyone in the medina. Highly recommend!

Medí was amazing. He got us a taxi from the bus to the Riad, met us at the taxi, gave us a tour, had a late dinner (that was amazing!!!) waiting for us on a late night arrival, got us a to go breakfast and was very awesome with communication. The Riad is close to the blue gate and in the Medina itself. It is clean and such a neat experience, highly recommend!!

Staff is extremely polite and hospitality was great. Very helpful to even lend a extra umbrella to us due to rain. It felt like we stayed with extended family. They even safely kept my daughters purse when she forgot it in the lobby until we returned. Felt like we lived in a small palace
