Flexible host. Was able to leave my bag while I hiked. You can walk to town. I walked to start of hike (Montagne Peleé) well hitching a ride up to trailhead. Staff are friendly.

We had an amazing stay at VillAnolis. Évelyne and Frank were perfect hosts and always made sure we had everything we needed, even offering to lend us hammocks and a cooling backpack for our hikes and trips to the beach. We stayed in their brand new room that they opened just a month ago and it was extremely comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The A/C was great and almost not needed thanks to the nice breeze that blows through the valley.The view from the deck and the pool was breathtaking, and a delicious breakfast was included, which really made our stay so much better! We also had the pleasure to try the dinner experience with both of them. The food prepared by Frank was amazing and we had a great time getting to know them over dinner. The location was great, with easy access to many beaches and amazing hikes around Mount Pelée, and a reasonable drive (30min-1h) from most other parts of Martinique, including the airport. We had a truly perfect time and wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

A very friendly family who are trying really hard to make this traditional village house comfortable. It's well equipped and it was clean but it is very rustic. The bathroom, toilet and kitchen are off the open courtyard ..if it's raining U will get wet However, it is really good value for money , part of being on an adventure and the beach is over the road. .
