Spacious place, quite clean, has basic kitchenware, plates-cups and cutlery, tea-sugar etc. (though no salt or cooking oils). It was a very comfortable stay by myself.
The owners of the place didn't visit me in 3 days, but sent a few texts with some basic info about the area.
Mourne Rouge is a nice small town, and has basic necessary amenities to stay for a couple of days. Relatively good and reliable connections with St Pierre & le Lorraine, though 2 busses to Fort-de-France didn't come.
The house is relatively close to Mt Pele hike starting point though adds extra 1-2 hours of walking.
Overall, very happy with choosing that option.

Great view of the city and bay. The property is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. The pool is refreshing. Great breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, cheese, meat and juice. 10 minutes to Fort-de-France and 15-20 mins to the airport.

amazing location and very kind people. It was a little hard to find at first, but it is right on the beach, very clean and everything I needed was there. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially given they had to put up with my very poor french-speaking.

This little gem suited us perfectly. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the perfectly firm bed to the nice cotton sheets to the a/c that gives an excellent sleep our time spent here was ideal. Never once ran out of hot water. Fast internet, washing machine (utilized numerous times as we were on a working holiday). It's only a matter of a few minutes drive (or a 10 min walk) to the clean beach or grocery store either one. Daniel and his wife were the perfect hosts.
