Stephanie is a great host. The breakfast she prepared was varied and delicious and she was very flexible with me regarding check in /out times to accommodate my flight schedule. The beach is very close in walking distance and she also recommended a nice beach restaurant that I enjoyed very much. The outdoor pool and lounge area is also very comfortable to relax in.

A recently renovated guest house, KAN'DLO offers accommodations in Le Morne Rouge.

Spacious place, quite clean, has basic kitchenware, plates-cups and cutlery, tea-sugar etc. (though no salt or cooking oils). It was a very comfortable stay by myself. The owners of the place didn't visit me in 3 days, but sent a few texts with some basic info about the area. Mourne Rouge is a nice small town, and has basic necessary amenities to stay for a couple of days. Relatively good and reliable connections with St Pierre & le Lorraine, though 2 busses to Fort-de-France didn't come. The house is relatively close to Mt Pele hike starting point though adds extra 1-2 hours of walking. Overall, very happy with choosing that option.

    Very quiet and well situated if you want a travel north or south. Beautiful sunset and you can heard the sound of the ocean in the leaving room. Host check in if I need something very kind.

    This place is amazing and the host wonderful. It is well located near the beach, town and bus connections; it is super clean, safe and quiet; and has everything that you might possibly need plus a lovely patio to hang out. The host came to pick me up from the airport and was super nice and helpful in showing me around and giving me suggestions. I highly recommend it. Thank you Laurence!

    Wonderful place. Great ocean view, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. A lot of space in the apartment, fully equipped, TV, internet. Private parking for the car. It is worth having it, because the journey up the hill is demanding. Perfect as a starting point to any part of the island. We lacked nothing, and the hosts were eager to help us. I heartily recommend!
