Lovely Guesthouse! We stayed here for a week and had a fantastic time. The room was spacious enough for both of us and came equipped with air conditioning, a smart TV, and a small kitchen — everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful, and the garden is absolutely beautiful, often filled with colorful birds. The owner was very friendly and gave us great tips for exploring the island. It’s within walking distance of Pereybere Beach and close to several restaurants. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Excellent location a few meters from the beach, felt like your own private beach. Hotel clean except for some really small ants that I always encountered during breakfast. Staff very polite and helpful always. Rooms are big, well appointed, comfort level above average. Would have been great if the coffee/tea station amenities were updated daily instead of just once off. Breakfast was good however it was the same everyday, with option for omelette. I am not a big Breakfast person so I feel that they should perhaps ask guests what they would like from a list of standard options (from what they usually bring) instead of bringing everything...fruits, yogurt, cheese, butter, jam, breadroll, croissant, juice all standard everyday then option for tea/coffee. It's a lot to have!! It is definitely somewhere i would recommend to family and friends.

So close to the beach- literally across the road! Bus stop close. Mini market and a Grill snack on the premises. Room was on first floor-big bed,spacious surface and clean. Staff were welcoming and gave tips on what the locals do for fun and eat. Reasonable wifi in lobby. Enjoyed the ocean view from the top floor sitting in the equipped kitchen upstairs. Good value.

We were welcomed by Mr Kishen who was helpful and explained the property and facilities to us. The room was fabulous, spacious, and the view was the cherry on the cake. We were impressed by the location and cleanliness, maintenance of the whole property specially the kitchenette appliances of the room and the barbecue space near the pool.

For budget-friendly accommodation, La Tonnelle was incredible. In the North of the island, it is quite a long way from the airport and off the luxury bus route, but just across the road from balmy, beautiful (extremely hot) Trou aux Biches beach and barely 5 minutes walk from Grand Popo Supermarket and the stop for local busses. The staff were friendly and the managers - Dennis is definitely our favourite - kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained, air-conditioned, and everything worked. The breakfast was a basic buffet, but what took the experience to a whole new level was the evening meals, with all the guests eating a three course set menu together, cooked or supervised by Dennis. This was not restaurant or hotel food - this was cooked by a talented and imaginative man who genuinely enjoyed giving his guests an experience to remember. Smoked marlin, Swordfish, octopus, pan-seared beef, hearty stew...I could go on, but just thinking about those fantastic meals makes me wish I was back there...
