This is a stunning small hotel. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. We had a lovely porch with private garden and direct access to the pool. The communal spaces are beautiful too. The team are very helpful and attentive whilst also giving privacy. The grounds are exquisite. This was exceptional value for money. Loved it.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Big and Quiet Cottage at New Gulliver in Lilongwe Malawi.
The House has everything you need and very comfortable beds.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming.
Quiet environment and the staff were charming. I was allowed an early check-in which I greatly appreciated. I was initially allocated a lower rate during the early check-in but I was moved to the room that I had booked
the breakfast was excellent , fresh fruit. location great, very quiet like i wanted.
the garden was just so fresh, wonderful landscape.
the room was amazing , spacious. i have recommend and will definitely come back again
Quiet location in a residential area outside the city center. About a 15 minute walk to a small shopping center in Area 10 with a few restaurants and a grocery store. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with a fan and mosquito net. The staff are wonderful. Sarah is a joy. So helpful and accommodating. The breakfast included in the price was very tasty (and enormous!). WIFI works well. The guesthouse offers transport into the city center for a reasonable price.
The hostess Chikondi was a very good to me, so I felt very welcome. Also her team is very proffessional and the food was tasty.
It is very near to shopping center and 3 kilometers to the City center, which was convenient for work as well as for pleasure.
They have chairs outdoors in the garden, which is good for relaxing.
The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and many expatriates live in the area.
the breakfast was really nice, hot Malawian coffee every morning, the staff, in particular Maria was such a great host! also the free wifi was always on, never had any challenges with connectivity
Yami was super helpful! He helped us figure out food for my vegan girlfriend, taxis when we were struggling, and was just all around a great host!
Also breakfast was very nice and a good amount of food, and the place itself was spacious and clean!
Wonderful and friendly staff who went out of their way to serve and guide 24/7.
The environment was quiet, which was conducive for rest and/ or work.
Well-lit and cozy room with clean beddings. Toiletries were made available all-through.
Quite near the city center: about 5-10 minutes by car or motorbike.
The breakfast was pretty decent & served within the requested time, according to one's schedule. Room service for breakfast was made available at no extra charge.
