Featuring lake views, Amigos Hotelito in Bacalar features accommodations, a private beach area, a garden, and a shared lounge.

Pleasant and friendly hotel at the south end of town, with a dock right on the lake. We took advantage of the free kayaks, and the hotel also arranged a sailboat tour of the lake at a reasonable price. Very friendly and accommodating service. There was a great restaurant within walking distance, just south of the hotel. Would stay here again!

    The property is at the most beautiful part of the lagoon, with an island right in front of it, protecting the area. It has also a Cenote nearby (Cenote Esmeralda, just a walking distance). It has kayaks and a SUP available. The sunrise is amazing! Sergio was a great host, helping with everything we asked and needed. Rooms are simple, but comfy and charming. They can arrange you great tours, with the best company in Bacalar.

    Great little gem in Bacalar. The good reviews I read before booking it didn't disappoint at all. Big space, private little pool, very clean, great location (it's quiet at night!), very attentive host, super comfortable bed. We could use the free bycicles ( and they are all great) Highly recommend!

    One of the best stays we had so far in our entire central America journey. The hosts are amazing. They made our stay so pleasant! After a 1 minute walk you'll find a super nice breakfast and lunch place called Chen. But there is also a fridge in the room. The first couple of restaurants and bars are on a 5 minute walk. The walk to the city center is a 15 minute walk. The hosts we always helpfull and called us taxis whenever we did not felt like walking (taxis are cheap).

    Great hostel - quiet, but that's what we like. Beautiful garden and friendly staff. Had private room which was really comfortable and quiet. Simple breakfast of toast, coffee and fruit but good enough. Access to amazing beach club which was a great way to while away the peaceful days in Bacalar.

    Nina is a great host, when we arrived she left us some fresh fruits from the garden in our room. Nina recommended us a lot of things to do in the area of Bacalar. From local things to try,do to the classic hot spots. The apartment was very clean and you have everything you need there. A few min away by car, we had free access to the lagoon, which was a great place to hang out or even do the sunrise Stand Up Paddle Tour, which I also recommend!

    Very nice social hostel. Lots of activities. I booked one night to make friends and after I stayed at a cheaper place but you can still walk into the hostel and participate with activities, as its also opened for restaurant or party guests. Also great location.

    We had a lovely stay with Juanita and Manuel. They were friendly and accommodating hosts. The guest house is in a great location, it is clean and comfortable and has the added bonus of a garden and kitchen for the guests to use. I would definitely recommend.

    great location, quaint and quiet with a lovely (small) pool and area. rooms were large, beds comfortable and really nice showers. breakfast was good, limited choices but really nice. choice of coffee/tea, then fruit (banana, papaya and melon) or juice, then a choice of scrambled eggs with your one choice of veg (onion, tomatoe etc) or pancakes. both were really good. Has a separate private lake access and pontoon which was great and has free kayaks.
