It was a simple room and very clean. The host went above and beyond and met me at the train station on arrival.
Providing garden views, Hostal Pata de Perro in Creel features accommodations and a shared lounge. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great location, only a 5 minute walk from El Chepe train station and the bus station. Shower was good as well. We were able to check out at 1pm which was an added bonus. Overall for the price, it was OK.
Memo as a host was SUPERB. When asked for support and advice he offered up suggestions on how to best enjoy the town. He offered us coffee before we got the early morning bus and turned the heating on for us in our room knowing that we were out to ensure we came back to a warm and cosy room.
Very nice place, all necessary installations in the room, hot water, heating, also there's a kitchen at the hotel where one can cook and have tea. The host helped us to get from the train and also to the bus station.
The place is a 15-20 minutes walk from the center.
The host is super friendly and helpful to arrange my exploring of the area, and I can rent the bike to the Valle de Monjes and the lake, and his dog escort me all the way, which is nice. which is a great trail. The room is clean, the kitchen is well equipped
Though it is 10 minutes walk to centre, well, I like it be more quiet here.
Host extremely helpful. Always offered to take us in car into town if needed, but really it's only 10 to 15 minute walk. Took me to some cheap clothes shops as needed more warm clothes. Room cleaned daily. Kitchen very well stocked with cutlery pans etc.
Was very cold so owner gave us electric heater for room but also was ample blankets.
Location was perfect: close to everything yet on a quiet street. The host was waiting outside for me, since he knew my train had arrived, and the hotel is not well-marked. I felt warmly welcomed.
Everything was spotless. The bed was very comfy.
Cosy room in a central location, but most of all Juan is a great host - plenty of tips for what to do in the area and did a great trip to the zip lining area with him and some other guests, that was a really nice day.
