Really enjoyed our stay here. Very easy Check in and we were immediately welcomed by the friendly cats. Our private room was quite small but very clean and one of the best beds we have on a 3 month trip. The facilities were great and we could get free water and free washing which was a bonus. It was always very quiet and the cats were a great feature. Walkable to all the highlights of Georgetown - would definitely recommend to stay here.

Our stay at Aayu Penang was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We stayed in a slightly noisy area, but that was part of the charm. It’s a lively, cultural neighborhood full of character and local flavor. The location couldn’t be better—close to everything! We were able to walk to local attractions, try amazing street food, and soak in the rich heritage of Penang right outside our door. The owner is really helpful and very informative about everything. They even gave us late check-out as our flight got delayed. Also the staffs who work here are charming and friendly. We felt very welcomed here. Aayu is a great choice if you're looking for an authentic and convenient place to stay. We truly enjoyed our time here. See you next time Penang!

Faultless place to stay. Really helpful staff via WhatsApp and on site guest assistant. Self check in was welcome. Cannot fault the place. Would recommend. They have some deals with neighbouring cafes and restaurants to avail of discounts. A/C was very effective which was important given the heat.

If you're looking to experience staying in modern heritage house, this is the place to be. There is a shared kitchenette with microwave oven, filtered water, mini fridge. Busy street by day but quiet and peaceful at night. Walking distance to almost everything. We love our room, it's clean, spacious and good view from the window. Air con and Wifi were strong too. Not forgetting to mention, the staff were absolute helpful. The reservation team is literally one message away and they are always ready to help.

Fantastic host, very helpful and clear. Great location, walking distance to many spots to visit in town. The apartments are recently refurbished and are very clean and comfortable. The host has a list of places/itineraries you can visit while in Georgetown.

A huge room, one of the biggest I’ve stayed in, in a gated building where all the rooms surrounded a courtyard and there was a communal living room, dining room and kitchen. It felt safe, private and homely. There was a washing machine and iron and ironing board downstairs for any guest to use which was a great bonus. Smart tv that worked with no issues to allow connection to Netflix and other apps. Really friendly and helpful host over WhatsApp. Right round the corner from Love Lane and other great spots in the area. Maybe the best accommodation we’ve had over the last couple of months.

The property is located just outside of the main busy part of batu Ferringhi up the hill from the beach in a quite part which was lovely. We drove but there’s also a bus stop at the bottom.
