It is fun to hang out at the balcony, chit chatting with them after meals, listening to stories from Uncle David. The longhouse Homestay is basic but charming, it has everything you need. Transport from and to airport, looking for activities to do, buying rice and pineapple and salt, they would help you with your request. Amazing and personalized services. She spent so much of her time with us, enlightening us to the history of Bario and the longhouse in particular. She cooked some great local food for us. The Longhouse, if you haven't experienced one before, like us, is fabulous. Bario is a must visit - a lovely quiet, friendly village surrounded by hills.
