I cannot recommend Joli Guesthouse enough. From the moment their taxi driver picked us up from the airport, the service of the staff was beyond excellent. My husband and I were visiting his son who lives in Maputo so we had him over every day and the staff were so accommodating to all three of us. The room was beautiful (king suite) and they cleaned and changed the sheets every morning while we were at breakfast. There was a continental breakfast but you could order something else from the breakfast menu at no additional charge. The pool and outdoor area was clean and beautiful. The staff would set out tea and homemade cakes or cookies in the evenings and there was a small mini fridge of drinks and snacks in the common area. We would absolutely stay again.

We had some issues with our booking, and the manager did try his best to assist and advised us to upgrade our rooms. Booking your stay here will reduce the need to drive around as you can opt to walk to places like The Fish Market, Baia Mall, and South Beach and blend with the locals
