It was a nice hotel with a great location near the beach and well connected. Everything clean and spacious. The staff was the highlight. Especially Fahimah (the lady at the front desk) made everything possible to make you feel at home.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Cozy, quirky guesthouse in great location. Miguel, the owner is super helpful. The place has a great sitting room and fun outdoor showers as well as a proper bathroom. There is a kitchen so you can cook for yourself and a terrace for chilling. Get the Yango app for taxis and getting anywhere is cheap.
A charming hostel, located in a quiet location, right in front of a grocery store. The place was kept super clean and the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The common areas are also very pleasant, including the lounge and patio.
The host is very accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious! They included a fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, coffee, nuts, a cooked meal with egg of your choice, and my personal favourite; passion fruit juice made on site. I enjoyed this visit entirely, the host made this time extra special through her kind acts and service.
the guesthouse is conveniently placed in a very nice, quiet and safe area of Maputo, with bars and restaurants at walking distance. the green room is huge and well furnished, with a very comfortable mattress. Imelda is the nicest host and her breakfast cannot be missed. Highly recommended!
Palmeiras is such a beautiful Guest House surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very nice, and quiet neighborhood. Amazingly clean inside with much more space than expected, stunning bedrooms and bathrooms. I would highly recommend staying here! Ups!!! Forgot about the wonderful breakfast, this is a must try! Celia and her staff are such good hosts!
The location is great and Miguel was the perfect host. He arranged our collection from the airport and welcomed us at the guesthouse. He was super helpful in organising a tour of the city as well as a return trip to the airport. The guest house is unconventional but the quirkiness of it, makes it even more exciting to stay. Having Piri-Piri restaurant below the guesthouse is a great advantage. Staff were friendly, especially the guy who runs the curio shop at the bottom of the stairs. The bed was comfortable and the aircon welcome.
