I came the second time, because I like the atmosphere, created by the nice managing people. And the possibility to reach the stupa in 5 minutes, and shenchen monastery.
The rooms are clean, yet a bit run down concerning the furniture and other equipment. Obviously the owner doesn't invest a penny to develop his property. But, as mentioned, the managing people are wonderful and helpful. It's also nice to have a little garden for breakfast and a rooftop for yoga.
Located within 200 m from Boudhanath Stupa and Sechen Monastery, ROKPA Guest House is located in Boudha, Tinchule. It offers free WiFi access throughout the property.

Amazing place to stay in the center of Kathmandu !
Very close to Durbar square, Thamel and other sites of interest. A great thing is that the house is on a small square with a pagoda wich has a very laidback atmosphere and friendly neighbors. There is a kitchen corner with a supply of clean water in the house wich is fabulous. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Kathmandu !

Lovely place, very relaxing in the middle of bustling area with nice internal garden. I was travelling for work and was able to rest very well there. Comfortable beds and powerfull shower. Friendly and helpful staff.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
This is a very good lower price choice . Clean , very near the stupa and very good breakfast . Lovely owners who are most helpful . I would highly recommend this guest house .
Very nice helpful personal and tasty kitchen, food served in a charming atmosphere of the garden, felt like a small oasis, I felt very happy with. I was also able to make a small journey additional to Bhaktapur with the help of the personal, it was wonderful! Can‘t wait to come back again, and enjoy the friendly guesthouse close to Boudhanat!
This guest house is fabulous and the staff make you feel at home and are very helpful and friendly.
I felt safe, and well looked after. I also enjoyed the quietness.
The location was excellent for me as I wanted to explore on foot, the Tibetan Boudhist monasteries and Bohdanath . And its around 20mns/30mns iun a moto taxi to get around into town etc..
