The team are superb and so friendly. It feels like a home. The breakfast was always great and served with a smile and friendly chat. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The shower was always hot. The doorway lintels are low as it was customary to bow when entering a room. It is not a western style hotel. The host, Yelos, is a warm and friendly man, who is happy to share his knowledge and love of Nepalese culture and customs. My room had clearly been recently refurbished so it felt extra comfortable. The bathroom was modern and spotless. It took a while to get used to the low ceilings - tall people beware! The house is in a prime location, 2 minutes away from Patan Durbar Square but quiet , easy to go anywhere. There are 2 beautiful temples in front of the house, I found a sacred feeling around the area. Nepali people say friendly monkeys come mean you have luck , so I got luck on the last day that 3 monkeys visited me !
