Staying at Peebles cottage is an unforgettable experience. It’s beautifully maintained in an amazing setting. At night you can sit out on the veranda, in the cosy hoodies provided by Jane, and listen to the Morepork, Kiwis, Tuis and other nightlife as you look at the stars. It’s definitely a place to relax and slow down for a while, and Jane and Doug are great hosts with plenty of suggestions of things to do in the area.

The location was incredible a slice of paradise. We enjoyed the comfy bed with a view of the beach and slept so well in the cosy sheets. The shower excellent and the Manuka Honey body lotion I loved so much I bought a bottle at the airport. The kitchen was so cute every detail thought out. Studio Otama beach is a private haven!

Located within 3 km of Whitianga Beach and 46 km of Driving Creek Railway and Potteries, Annabells B&B features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Whitianga.

We enjoyed a wonderful 1-night stay at Annabells B&B and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Coromandel / Whitianga area. The property is situated on a hill about a 5-minute drive from the beach. It had a beautiful view of the bay from the upstairs level where the owner, Beverley, lives. We occupied the downstairs apartment which was roomy and had a large bathroom. It was nice and comfortable, although the room was damp and the dehumidifier was on the whole time. Beverley was a great, easy-going host. She provided a lovely hot breakfast in the morning with fruits, toast, jams, yoghurt, eggs, bacon and mushrooms. At breakfast, we met the other couple staying at the property and exchanged stories about life and travel, which was a positive addition to our trip through New Zealand. We highly recommend Annabells B&B!

Located just 22 km from Driving Creek Railway and Potteries, Mahamudra Buddhist Centre provides accommodation in Colville with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen.

Lovely and quiet as I only saw the staff who were friendly and welcoming. No pressure to engage in any religious events. Phone signal OK but didn't use the WiFi in the main social area so cannot comment. Did not miss WiFi. Perfect base to explore north of Coromandel Town.

A recently renovated guest house in Whitianga, Studio at Matarangi offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio.

The studio was perfect for our weekend stay needs - very clean, pleasantly appointed and in a quiet location. The host Sandra was friendly and helpful. The property is a short walk from the beach and is also handy to bush walks, which was great. We would definitely stay again.

    Everything, beautiful location,, cottage has absolutely everything you will need and more. Jane and Doug are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Sat out on the veranda listening to the Kiwi's and watching the Milky Way.in the warm snuggly hoodies provided. Thank you for the travel advice , we went to New Chums beach and watched dolphins just off the coast followed by a bumpy drive to Port Jackson and a lovely walk. Thankyou so much

    The Cottage was superb, quiet, comfortable, cosy and clean. This is a real gem and we would definitely stay again. All the extra touches made our stay perfect. The night sky was breathtaking, crisp clean nights for perfect star gazing. Jane and Doug are exceptional hosts, so accommodating and helpful. Great ambassadors for the local area.

    Hosts were amazing, very friendly and very accommodating went out of their way to make sure we were happy and well looked after. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, relaxed with beautiful scenery this is the place to stay. Chalets were very tidy and clean could not fault them at all. Thank you so much for the great hospitality. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed 🙂
