The location was great, withing walking distance to Oneroa . We had a wedding to attend at Mudbrick, so close to venue as well. Spacious bathroom and bedroom. The bed was comfortable, great to have a robe provided as that is something you often don't have room for when packing. Lovely decor and nice touches throughout.

Great location with good access to the bus. Yes you have to walk up a gradual hill from the bus stop to the driveway. The driveway is as bad as folks say it is and taxis will not drive down it.
My room was comfortable although the light for the hall was right outside and would shine through the curtain every time the light turned on. Plenty of room in the frig, well stocked kitchen. Comfortable furnishings. Good WiFi. Great bird sounds! Felt the money value was quite good!

Our Wild Thyme stay was above & beyond anything we imagined. The view of Oneroa Bay from our stay was a breathtaking. Bruce & Jules were the most welcoming, friendly, and helpful hosts. The room was very comfortable & had everything we needed for our stay. The patio was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee & tea, and our afternoon glass of wine while looking out over the bay. If we are fortunate enough to return to Waiheke Island, we would love to stay at Wild Thyme again.

We had a great time at the cottage. Everything matched what was advertised. We loved the spa and the view we had from the spa. Really appreciated the design and layout of the house. When we came back in the afternoon the cottage was warm, naturally heated from the sun streaming in through the ranch sliders.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
We were there in quiet season so there was literally only four of us in the whole hostel at a time, we had a private double room and found it great for what we wanted, really simple, clean room. The guy in reception was super nice, always smiling and chatting!! Great facilities overall, beautiful spot, the stairs up are a killer though!! But worth it 😀
Very quiet, beautiful setting amongst lots of busy and trees could hear Ruru in the night. Very comfy beds, clean facilities, friendly host. Close to great Tapa’s restaurant.
We had an awesome weekend away, lovely hosts, great location, the accomodation was perfect; modern, clean with everything you could possibly need plus an incredible view. A highlight was being able to easily walk down for a morning swim in the sea. Was hard to leave but we hope to be back!
