Enjoyed a peaceful two nights at grascorft gardens in patea Olivia was a pleasant host, surrounded by lush greenery and soothing sounds of nature. Take in the beauty of the gardens, and got to unwind in the tranquil atmosphere, and explore the charm of this quiet little Taranaki town.

This place is charming, with everything we needed for a delightful, relaxing stay.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Super responsive host, great communication. Clean and tidy. We travel for work often and will stay here again when next in the area.
Love the bathroom too, gave us ideas for our cabin at home!
The whole house was amazing. Especially being able to play board games and being off devices during our stay. The host was amazing due to our change in circumstance we was able to change our booking.
We had a beautiful, comfortable, quiet unit set within a stunning garden that we were invited to view and walk through. Olivia and Julian were the perfect hosts, very friendly and provided all the necessities for our visit (good healthy food, comfortable bed, well provisioned bathroom, and a TV with numerous internet websites). We highly recommend Glascroft Gardens
Breakfast selection was great. To be provided with yoghurt was a bonus. Vanessa provided good bread not the cheap and nasty type which we really appreciated.
It was great to have access to 2 bathrooms. We ended up having the whole place to ourselves, family of 8.
Comfy bed - Vogels bread and not cheap, white bread - plenty of spreads for toast including a good jam - cleaning products on hand - plenty of toilet paper - plenty of clean towels - property was clean - fan for when it gets hot - the owner came to see me personally when she hadn't recieved my answer to a text, which I thought was very considerate - plenty of parking if needed
An unexpected gem on the edge of Patea, this is a quiet and secluded self-contained unit (separate to the owner's house) set in their impressive gardens. It has everything you would want for a comfortable stay and is fitted and furnished to a very high standard of design and quality. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the provided continental breakfast is also great.
