Well-Stocked Essentials: The cottage includes a helpful selection of first-aid and personal care supplies—such as cotton pads, cotton swabs, and some basic medications—showing impressive attention to guest needs. Rare Convenience – Two Luggage Racks: Unlike most accommodations we experienced throughout New Zealand, this cottage had two luggage racks, which makes complete sense for a space meant for two people. A small detail, but greatly appreciated. Good Value for Money: Compared to other accommodations in the Waitomo area, Crinkly Cottage offers competitive pricing with plenty of space and basic comforts.

What a beautiful cottage in a bucolic location. It was spotlessly clean and very well laid out. The location was perfect for a place to land after our glowworm cave tour. Brooke was a wonderful host - she was very quick to respond to my messages and offered dinner suggestions and was very kind to allow us a late check out. There were nice breakfast fixin's included. Extra bonus was Frankie the cat who was so sweet and friendly.

Adorable, so simple, breakfast ingredients left for us in the fridge. Games in cabinet for the kids, and the cutest little handmade puppets you have ever seen. Location had a fun, well marked hike that was like no hike we had ever done. Lots of neat little decorative touches and thoughtful things throughout the Airbnb.
