Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Jonathan and Meredith were great hosts offering a warm welcome and valuable advice throughout our stay. The terrace's stunning seaview, the tranquil location, the closeness to the beach, the possibility to rent surfboards and the clean, spacious accommodation all contributed to a delightful experience.
The staff, especially Gabriel from the front desk , is amazing. They do make you feel home and make everything possible to have a great vacation. Nao Venao Boutique Hostel is the best price / quality ratio in the area. its a short walk to the beach. There is a shortcut via Selina River so no walking on the street. breakfast is included which is amazing. the rooms are new and the area is very quite to relax. theres a kitchen available to cook but I did not make use so cannot comment on it.
Thanks Nao Venao team for this great stay over 🙏
The perfect base to explore Playa Venao. A quiet place, five minutes walk from the beach and all restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This hostel is a lot cheaper than for example the popular Selina hostel, but just as comfortable and a lot cleaner!
I had a terrible stay, the hostel was basically taken over by groups of partying Israelis who were playing loud music and singing into the night. I paid a ridiculous $60 for a dorm room, pure extortion because the whole village was sold out. I complained and only received a 10$ refund. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, maybe Nao Venao hotel which is way cheaper and nicer
