Guest Houses in Playa Venao

It was a solid stay. I'll start with the good: comfortable pillows and bed, AC that worked well, private balcony, and the location of La Choza can't be beat. The staff was amazing, super friendly, helpful, and very attentive.

Fantastic breakfast selection, location is within short walk to restaurants and town square. Dona Maria is extremely well informed and connected to Pedasi in all ways. She set us up with a realestate tour with Helley to look at a few potential rentals.

One real plus is it's easy to find Casa Loma. In a country that seems allergic to signs, if one follows the direction that it's directly across from the National Police station, right on the main road into town, you've got it. On the other hand, if you go by the map location . . . well, eventually you'll come back to the National Police Station. I was greeted by (if I get his name right) Ari, who was friendly, eager to help, and seemed very in charge of the place. He made me feel welcome and right at home. He even asked if I can walk up stairs to the second floor. Which I can. Though the stairs were a bit of a challenge, especially with baggage, given that the steps are taller than standard. One of the things I liked the most was the breakfast was included in the price. I'd like to see more places offer that. And the breakfast was excellent. Very civilized practice. I didn't use it, but the pool looked beautiful and people seemed to enjoy it. I did make it to some of the nearby beaches, which are very beautiful. I really liked how the place is within walking distance of just about the whole town, so getting to restaurants and the supermarket was easy. I'd recommend staying at this hotel.
