The manager Kevin was incredible. More than helpful in every way, booking our trips for us and getting discounts on them, came fishing with me in the sea organising our breakfasts. The accommodation was well equipped and perfect for us and what we needed. We enjoyed the walk to Tamae beach, and the snorkelling there was awesome. Really enjoyed getting up early and seeing the sunrise from the small beach of the accommodation, opening coconuts that had washed up and even seeing whales not far off in the sea. We had use of some bikes free of charge (they could do with a little bit of maintenance Kevin), which enlarged our area of exploration and Kevin also rents cars out too (though we didn't). Some people have mentioned that it is a little far from anywhere, but all three trips that Kevin organised for us had pick up included so we didn't feel isolated in anyway. We had an amazing time there and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so special Kevin.

Our bungalow was clean and well equipped with a kitchen, kettle, fridge, fan, television, and AC. The property has nice areas to chill including a pool and a hammock under some trees. The location is beautiful and peaceful and is protected from the easterly winds, but is not close to the main tourist areas/towns on the island so you will need a vehicle to get around. There’s a roulotte right next door for typical local dinner, and an excellent local seafood restaurant a few minutes down the road. Finally the hosts Marie-Do and Didier are lovely - they were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Very nice location in the heart of the Moorea mountains and very comfy, clean and nice bungalows. Situation with mosquitos is not so bad as you could expect. Owners provided us special antimosquito smokes for their use especially in the morning and it was ok. Personnel/owners were very kind, friendly and communicative. They could send a taxi for us when it was neccesary after our walk and hiking. They also prepared a great french breakfast with pancakes for us. We would like to come back once again and enjoy longer stay to spend more time in a swimming pool with a nice views on the Mountains.

My daughter stayed with host Murielle for three nights and four days and her hospitality was truly exceptional! She experienced the real Moorea & French Polynesian culture of kindness, care and hospitality from Murielle and other local people. Staying at Fare Mihimana was a pleasure, being able to rest and relax in a beautifully furnished guestroom with everything you need, and it was nestled in a tropical garden paradise. Murielle gave some fruits growing in her garden to eat in a fruit bowl on the dining table. Fare Mihimana is located within a short walking distance of the ferry dock at Vai'are which is so handy with lots of services, shops, supermarket, eateries close by. Murielle gave great tips on visiting local spots and helped organise taxi and recommended excursions and things to do on Moorea. My daughter will never forget her wonderful stay at Fare Mihimana. We loved the layout of the home and the swing on the deck. The lagoon a few meters down the beach was also wonderful for swimming all together each morning.

I really loved this property, the staff and location were amazing. There’s a great restaurant on site which overlooks the private beach as well as other places to eat nearby. The dormitory was very comfortable and not too hot at night. The beach was good and you have free access to kayaks, great sunset spot too!

Location! Woke up with sea view from bed. Beautiful. Lovely breakfast by the ocean, fruit bread juice and coffee for 1000 xfp Room had a fridge and great wifi.

We loved Moorea, had we known, we would have stayed a week instead of just 4 days. The staff and service at Linareva is exceptional. There is a beautiful tranquil family run atmosphere. These cottages are perfectly equipped (even milk frother with coffee machine). We loved kayaking (provided) and snorkeling (there is some older gear, better bring your own) on the coral around the blue hole. It was sometimes so wind still that the surface of the sea looked like a lake. You can catch lovely sunsets from the pier. We would absolutely stay there again. Note: you will need a car, to get there, for grocery shopping but also to get to all the great spots on Moorea: drift snorkel, boat rental (cheap at Hotel Les Tipaniers), restaurants … We rented at Avis.com collecting the car at the ferry terminal, returning at the airport, and it was super easy and quick.
