We loved the layout of the home and the swing on the deck. The lagoon a few meters down the beach was also wonderful for swimming all together each morning.

The manager Kevin was incredible. More than helpful in every way, booking our trips for us and getting discounts on them, came fishing with me in the sea organising our breakfasts. The accommodation was well equipped and perfect for us and what we needed. We enjoyed the walk to Tamae beach, and the snorkelling there was awesome. Really enjoyed getting up early and seeing the sunrise from the small beach of the accommodation, opening coconuts that had washed up and even seeing whales not far off in the sea. We had use of some bikes free of charge (they could do with a little bit of maintenance Kevin), which enlarged our area of exploration and Kevin also rents cars out too (though we didn't). Some people have mentioned that it is a little far from anywhere, but all three trips that Kevin organised for us had pick up included so we didn't feel isolated in anyway. We had an amazing time there and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so special Kevin.

Very nice location in the heart of the Moorea mountains and very comfy, clean and nice bungalows. Situation with mosquitos is not so bad as you could expect. Owners provided us special antimosquito smokes for their use especially in the morning and it was ok. Personnel/owners were very kind, friendly and communicative. They could send a taxi for us when it was neccesary after our walk and hiking. They also prepared a great french breakfast with pancakes for us. We would like to come back once again and enjoy longer stay to spend more time in a swimming pool with a nice views on the Mountains.

My daughter stayed with host Murielle for three nights and four days and her hospitality was truly exceptional! She experienced the real Moorea & French Polynesian culture of kindness, care and hospitality from Murielle and other local people. Staying at Fare Mihimana was a pleasure, being able to rest and relax in a beautifully furnished guestroom with everything you need, and it was nestled in a tropical garden paradise. Murielle gave some fruits growing in her garden to eat in a fruit bowl on the dining table. Fare Mihimana is located within a short walking distance of the ferry dock at Vai'are which is so handy with lots of services, shops, supermarket, eateries close by. Murielle gave great tips on visiting local spots and helped organise taxi and recommended excursions and things to do on Moorea. My daughter will never forget her wonderful stay at Fare Mihimana. I really loved this property, the staff and location were amazing. There’s a great restaurant on site which overlooks the private beach as well as other places to eat nearby. The dormitory was very comfortable and not too hot at night. The beach was good and you have free access to kayaks, great sunset spot too!

The view is amazing! The place is quiet! I slept with the door open facing the sea! The people were very polite and helpful! The manager was very kind. I stayed for 5 nights and wished I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be back!

I can’t give this place anything lower than a 10. Everything is really incredible here and the attention to detail and customer service/ care is second to none - better than I have experienced in any fancy hotel. So many thoughtful and nice touches (like kettle in the room, air con, fan, drinks fridge) and all of the staff are lovely. It is so good that I had a very hard time leaving and I would like to book again for much longer!

Highly recommend this cosy guesthouse, felt like a home away from home. Everything was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice meeting and chatting to the other guests there. Very close to the whale departure meeting point.
