Absolutely lovely people at Greenfields, so friendly and helpful. The inn is a couple of kilometres from the centre but there’s plenty of tricycles and it’s walkable anyway. The location is therefore good with great views. The home cooked food is very good too.

Definitely, I liked the view. The hosts were well-accommodating as per request.
Thank you to the host and family for inviting me to celebrate with them during the New Year.❤️
Just an advise for coming here, or Batad in general: one should consider preparing for exploring around in this place, because it would be tiring and painful for someone who does not do intensive workout or trek in a regular basis. You will miss out on seeing some scenic views if you have to cancel trips because you feel your knees might give out.
Be ready for seemingly endless stairs (going down and coming back up), slim and slippery walkways through rice paddies, and some parts that are rugged.😁
Boasting mountain views, Mayoyao View Inn provides accommodation with patio, around 36 km from Banaue Rice Terraces. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace.

Beautiful scenery and location. Quite a unique experience to spend a night in a traditional native hut. Staff were very friendly and made our stay amazing.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The host is really nice and gives you good recommendations on what to do when you are staying there. She will arrange everything for you so you don’t have to worry about anything- you can also eat there if you want to! Everything else is nice as well, it’s clean, comfortable and quiet!
It is all about location, at the edge of the Batad cluster of the UNESCO designated Cordillera Rice Terraces.
A bit of a challenging path leading to the guesthouse, but then it all opens up like an amphitheater, right from the
bedroom.
Nicely prepared meals, ice cold beers.
Very friendly host family.
The hostel is located in the middle of the village. You need to walk / hike like 30 min from the enterence. You are close to nature, it is quiet and you have a feeling of real Philippines life. The owner is very kind and cooks local dishes.
I could check-in as I arrived (room already available). The view to the rice fields from the terrace in stunning!!!!Much more quiet than the center of Banaue which I appreciated.Really good to get a rest from Manila.I used to walk to the center (30 mins) and even at night always felt safe.Otherwise 50 pesos the tricycle ride.Hot shower.Free tricycle ride from Ohayami bus terminal to the guesthouse on arrival. The owner was really helpful too ;) Thank you!!
Tani & Tessa are great hosts - Tani guided us during our 2 days trek in the rice fields and offered several alternatives considering the weather. He loves sharing his knowledge of the area / culture etc… and speaks perfect English
Very friendly reception, Joel is a great host, all is well organized, the guides are good. His wife cooks wonderfully! Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. Can only recommend!
Staff was great and very helpful. Pick up from the bus stop and drop off also included, which is great. Location is nice and quiet. Food from the guest house also awesome and a few vegetarian options.
