Very nicely renovated building with amazing common lounge area, all tastefully decorated. Bedroom was spacious and well equipped. Bed was very large and comfortable. Even though the listing on Booking stated that the hotel did not offer wifi or parking, it offered both at the time of our stay (we were the only guests). It has three reserved parking spaces for guests outside the front door and off the the main road. Wifi was good in the evening when we arrived. Staff was very helpful, explaining in detail the hotel's facilities. Breakfast (eaten in the lounge) was self service (in the kitchen area) with a range of options, including, at our request, gluten free options. The town's sights and old streets were within easy walking distance. It exceeded our expectations.
Providing city views, Casa de Campo Alter Pedroso in Alter do Chão provides accommodations and a shared lounge.

It's a nice out- of- the- way location surrounded by beautiful scenery. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen to take a break from restaurants. The staff was super nice!!

Everything..We booked the hotel so we could be able to travel to Valencia de Alcántara, Spain (my mom's hometown) which was having it's annual Festivity and Fairs.
The hotel was just perfect. 12 kms away, In a very tranquile town, with everything we needed to have a relaxing few days.
I will highly recommend it.
And next year we will definitely book there again!!

Breakfast was very good, internet access was fast and reliable. Nice small town house, spacious and with historic atmosphere. Nice people run it. We needed a hide-away quiet place in a rural setting for a couple of days, we got it.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The staff at the hotel were super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location and would not hesitate to stay there again it’s a must to go and see
Pool, breakfast, quiet. We would have given the review a 10 but we found the decor and maintenance needed a little attention here and there.
Nice restaurants locally and pool table a nice touch.
Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel with a very home type of feeling. High level of details, sublime and friendly host and personal. It feels more like being in someone’s family home. Very clean, great airco with fresh air and a salt water swimming pool in a beautiful garden.
Not to speak about the bed it’s the best or the fresh pie they make. Its delicious! or the house wine, wow! Rarely been in such a good boutique hotel.
The appartment was not so big but it had everything that was needed and it was very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. We recommend it to stay there.
