I was welcomed immediately!! Even though I arrived about 3hrs later than expected due to flight delays :( My room was spotless!! A private washroom was included. The home is beautiful & has everything you could want or need. Wonderful garden space in the back & a perfect location. I highly recommend!!

I loved our stay in Belém thanks to our awesome accommodations at the Geronimo House and our host George. It was located outside the main city of Lisbon but convienent to the main attractions in Belém, the river, restaurants and all public transportation. We could walk 5 minutes to the famous Pastel de Belém, The Monastery and the the Statue of the Discoverers. We were in a quiet little neighborhood where we felt right at home in George’s comfy home. Our rooms on the second floor had a balcony to look out on the backyard gardens and the river. George was a welcoming host and gave us many recommendations. I was sorry we had to leave after 3 nights. We hope to come back.

The location is excellent, it's just 5 minutes from the beach. Hosts are very accomodating and hospitable, I loved personal attention I got. My room was comfortable enough and had everything I needed. There are plenty of places to eat around and a supermarket nearby. And it's only 20 minutes from Lisbon by train.

Just got back home yesterday from the all too short one night stay. Where to start - from the warm welcome by Ricardo; to the glasses of Mateus Rosé sitting on the patio underneath the beautiful tiled roof overhang looking out over the pool( marvelous to swim in); the tour of the extensive and stunning gardens; the friendly tour of the large quarters( living room and dining area for quests) and the bedroom overlooking the gardens to the perfect breakfast the stay was superb!! The location just outside of Lisbon was great for the mornings ride to the airport. But it is far enough away from highways and Lisbon that it was a quiet oasis. Ricardo seemed to anticipate any need we might have had.

We were really satisfied. It is very clean, the kitchen is well eqipped, we could cook anything we wanted. It even has a backyard where we could dry the clothes.

Sofi was an excellent host and super attentive to everything and everyone! The location is a bit far from Lisbon and the beach if you’re walking or taking public transport but if you have a car or Uber (super cheap) it’s close to everything. The neighborhood is super quiet and the house feels very comfortable. Would highly recommend for longer stays and digital nomads.
