Casa Fragosa - Alojamento local provides beachfront accommodations in Póvoa de Varzim. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.

It was on the beach while walking distance to markets and restaurants. We had a vehicle and the parking was right outside and very safe. The woman who ran the property was extremely helpful and wonderful. We had our own washing machine, lots of towels and chairs and table outside in the sun looking at the ocean.

Casa Mindela Farmhouse is a 150-year old property in Vila do Conde that has been refurbished, while still maintaining its original features.

Owner cooked us a lovely dinner.. for us in February it was a bit cool temperature wise but the property is lovely.

Venceslau Wine Boutique Hostel is located in the heart of Vila do Conde. Completely renovated, this B&B is a 10-minute walk from the beach and 328 feet from the train station.

We had a lovely stay! It was a perfect location for our walk on the Portuguese Camino. The host provided good recommendations on places to eat that were close by and along the Camino route.

Some ants on the beds. Location was not close to any restaurants. Metro station was close. Our 2 bedroom was one bedroom and then 3 twins beds in the front entrance you walk directly into. Bedrooms were NOT separated and I would NOT consider this a 2 bedroom unit.

    Beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Ana even helped us pack some of the food up for lunch later that day 😄. Great host in a house with lots of character and excellent facilities, highly recommended for a treat on your camino

    This guest house was mere minutes off the Camino. Ana, the hostess, is kind and lovely, a fountain of information about Porto and Portugal in general. She greeted me with a smile and a glass of port. The breakfast was delicious and huge. My room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Great stay from fantastic hosts.

    Location was great, 20 minutes drive from OPO Airport, steps away from the coastline and in a quiet town. The host welcomed me personally, gave me all the information I needed and more, and prepared a copious breakfast adapted to my preferences (all plant-based).

    It is a lovely residential home turned into a guest house only a short walk to the beach. My room was exceptionally clean with comfortable twin beds. The surrounding neighborhood is very quiet. If you are hiking the coastal route of the Camino de Compostela, this is an excellent choice. My favorite part of the stay were the hosts. Ana and her husband are lovely and made me feel like I was truly their guest.
