Loved the owner. Very sweet woman. Place is very cute. Gteat kitchen with lots of items to work with. Close to small grocery stores and cafes. Big TV there.in living room. As an American, we aren't use to cold houses here in Portugal which is typical. She had a couple space heaters, one that worked better than the other. Even with the space heaters you could easily trip the breaker which we did. But again, this is universal in much of Portugal just not here.

This place is amazing. The house and garden were so quiet, beautiful and wonderful. It's a bit remote (and that's a plus!) but you still have access to all the necessary amenities within 10mn of car. About the place by itself, it was so good. The room and by extension the house is fantastically gorgeous. The breakfast prepared by Ruth is gigantic and excellent. Ruth herself is so lovely and always ready to help. She provided everything we needed (including umbrellas, beach towels, good restaurants and beaches advices) just by kindness. Her dogs and her cat are so cute and so friendly. It was just the best place we could have wished for relaxing vacations.

We had an amazing time. Monica made our stay so special. She made us dinner reservations, a picnic to take on our hike and was so welcoming. Homemade breakfast was a highlight as were the beautiful views. Highly recommend! Accommodation was large, clean and had everything we needed. Family of 5 with little kids-this was their favorite stop on our Portuguese holiday. The hike to the river, the donkey, the tree swing, the pool.
