We stayed at the place because to be near to border to Laos (Immigration) and for that purpose it was perfect; simple, clean, easy stay.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Huge room with amazing view. Attentive host. Lovely grounds. Very relaxing. Quiet, remote location away from the main road and town. Ideal peaceful place to stay before crossing into Laos.
This quiet and calm place was a dream for my boyfriend and I. We needed this environment after a long few days of travelling! The free bikes to borrow to cycle around the farm was amazing at sunset, the host and her husband were so sweet and adorable. They provided us an amazing dinner and breakfast (breakfast included) with free transfer from bus stop the day before and to the Laos border the next day! So so kind
Lovely, family run guesthouse. Perfect for a night before catching the boat in the morning. Great location, absolutely value for money! Very clean and tidy.
Absolutely amazing host and place for one night. If you go from Laos to Thailand, this guesthouse is for you. It's cheap, you will have 2 transfers and you also have breakfast. Thank you :)
I booked this hotel looking for somewhere to chill for a few days, I wanted something quaint and somewhere quiet and relaxed. for me this hotel was exactly what I wanted, beautiful scenery and friendly staff!
Great location for an overnight before catching the slow boat. Breakfast was kindly provided and the staff were super helpful. Quiet with amazing views of the Mekong and Laos.
It is what it is- very reasonable price - more a hostel than Guest House.
Ugly basic rooms but clean and a very attractive garden and pool. We stayed here basically for closeness to the border with Laos and departure early next morning !!
The town itself is very poor and Road busy but the river frontage is very attractive and at one end there are good standard restaurants and coffee shops.
Quaint. Very quiet and peaceful. Free bicycle. Breakfast was fried egg, toast, fruit and coffee/tea. Friendly owners (husband/wife) - cooked us dinner, and organized own vehicle with driver to Chiang Rai. Nothing was too much trouble.
