600 metres from Wat Pra Sing, Shinophat's House บ้านชิโนภาส เชียงราย is a recently renovated property situated in Chiang Rai and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.

The house is beautiful in a nice garden with an interesting history. It has been recently renovated so all of the beds, bedding, towels is new and of high quality - very comfy bed. The location is good to walk into town and also near some interesting temples. The owner is very nice, knowledgeable about the history of the house and was helpful to organise bike rental. The breakfast was also delicious, varied and large portion.

location , modern and design of the room. Washing machine (is useable) and all the plates were available and cooking stuff were available. The owner was very nice to provide instructions to enter the room via email in advance too. The location not bad, opposite the main road, Mookata open til 2am and next to the place - the coffeeshop opens at 930am. lastly there is a Laundry shop 100m walk away. Good location. netflix account was available, free. Thanks.

the bed was extremely uncomfortable. they pretended to care. i mentioned in the booking and afterwards that i wanted a comfortable bed. they said. yeah yeah. but nothing.

    Amazing value - cheap price, comfortable room, and strategic location. It was close enough to the town centre, but far enough to have some peace and quiet at night. They host speaks good English, and the breakfast, though simple, was tasty!

    Great hostel in the dead center of Chiang Rai yet in a quiet street. It was so clean, even the shared bathrooms. Also really nicely decorated and they even have free toasts, coffee and tea in the morning. The staff was really nice, you honestly can't beat that price, especially for the comfort you get. I'd come back there in a heartbeat if ever in Chiang Rai again :)

    Great location, great hosts. Breakfast was amazing, you get a menu to choose from the night before with a list of traditional Thai or American breakfast. Everything was clean, host was accommodating letting me leave my bags there until night time. Also provided great recs for local food and desserts. Also bikes for rent for free! Tai scheduled my Golden Triangle tour for me and also has hook ups for motor bikes if you need. All good!!

    The place is really peaceful and quiet. Bunnies everywhere are making the difference! Hosts are really nice. Rooms are comfy, we took a view on the rice field that was beautiful. Nice garden. Varied choice for breakfast, special point for the delicious fresh fruits and waffles ! Thank you ! That was a really pleasant stay !

    Location is great, it's clean and you have a 5 stars hotel service. The free help yourself breakfast is such a great add. It's a quiet area yet very close to the night market. If you want a good trip I can recommend bamboo tour. Not far from the guesthouse and made by a professional with fair even cheap prices. Ask Kwan ;) Would definitely stay again.

    I have spent a nice time at this lovely guesthouse. The room was clean, the matress was the best I had during my three months journey in Asia and every comodity was at a walking distance. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighborhood, next to the main area and the city center nightlife (10 min walking). The hostel staff was always smiling and happy to help, they booked a tour for me. You could rent scooters there. Will stay there again for sure.
