Perfect place to stop over before taking the ferry in the morning and heading to the islands. The room was very comfortable, the wifi was good, the smart tv was a nice luxury to have, the air worked good, and there was strong water pressure. The little kitchen on site made very good traditional Thai food and it was very affordable!

The owner is a very enthusiastic and nice man. He lent us his kettle. The surrounding garden is nice and relaxing. It is a short walk to the excellent beach and the Margarita Bar - which is good

Relatively inexpensive for the area. Decent big fridge in the room. Owner left three cans of Leo along with water in the fridge.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Loved the quirky huts we stayed in. Location to catch the ferry to koh phangan (or koh samui) ideal. Nice little walk to viewpoint. We got a ride off the owners mam to the nearby beach and cost 100THB which was a bargain considering the distance. Too far to walk.
They took us and our luggage to the pier the next day too. No restaurant or shop on sight but a 5 minute walk away they have a small family restaurant which was nice and super cheap.
The pool view room is really nice
- Resort super quiet, in a lovely area
- Amazing beach upfront, with nice installation to enjoy it
- Staff is very kind
- The bed sheets were very soft
Chris does his best to help with everything, good wifi, friendly people (but no English spoken :-), easy and fast transport to the pier; for what you get it could be a bit cheaper (we had better rooms for the same price) - or they should offer a family room for 4 for a reasonable price (we had to take 2 bungalows)
It was a great hosting for our faily, the room was extra big and extra clean, Holger and his wife are amazing hosting, the food was home made (thai and german menu:)
Realy recomend to eat there!
On our way to the ferry Holger took us through donsak local village and temple. We will definetly return!
New, clean and comfortable. Everything is new. The aircon is working great and quiet. The mattress is not the cheapest possible. Good. Good value for the money.
Noknoi the host of the guesthouse is very friendly and helpful ! We loved staying here and even lengthed our stay in donsak some days before going to koh phaluai :)
Charming resort just a few minutes from DonSak Lomprayah Ferry pier.... clean and cosy ... Chris is a outstanding obliging host, surprising you again and again with lovely little gifts. His mother served us with a delicious fried rice .... so if you need a stay on your way to Samui, Panghan or Tao take a break at Chris place .........
