The staff were extremely and helpful.
I cut my foot and my wound was cleaned and disinfected and bandaged, so thankful.
I wanted a place out of Pai that was peaceful and I found it.
There are occasional motorbikes making noise but on the whole tranquil.
The resturant is also good and open to 7 or 8.
Happy to keep my bike safe

Very good stay if you have a scooter or car to get around. Peaceful, nice rooms and even the ingredients for a great breakfast are provided!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The most wonderful place in the jungle. The owner, John and his team of friendly staff made us feel like part of the family. The food onsite was fantastic and the family room was super clean and comfortable. We loved the genuine, rustic feel of this place. It was like you’d stepped off the map and found a quiet gem of a place to recharge and relax to the sound of nature.
Value for money was fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was great and considering it was on the Main Street it was lovely and quiet.
The property is amazing especially the sunrise is stunning. The hosts are extremely knowledgable about the local culture, food, nature, politics etc etc which makes it a very valuable experience of true travelling.
Very warm welcome, peaceful and comfortable place. Good windows, good shower, comfortable beds, very clean. Very helpful and professional hosts speaking very good English. Close to tourist attractions. Possibility to eat very well anytime on site as well as possibility to organize guided tours, visits, transportation, transfers, motorbike rentals, etc. Our best homestay during our 1-month trip.
Such a beautiful place in a fabulous rural location. Philip & Gail are great hosts and give great information & advice about the local area. The food was all excellent, we particularly enjoyed the candlelit dinners.
Beautiful surroundings, beautifully garden at Pencave Homestat in which the little bungalows are situated. Very nice and quiet.
Amazing host who makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive :) thank you very much for a lovely stay!
Philip and Gail are great hosts. It truly is a home stay, feels like staying with friends. The suites are wonderful, the view is amazing, and there are many things you can do in the area. Great English breakfast, best bacon I handing Thailand. Good wines and beers in the fridge, dinner at the homestay if you want, really was perfect.
amazing place in a quiet village in beautiful setting and in walking distance to Tham Lod cave. Great hosts who are really welcoming and take their time with their guests. Very nice bungalows, each quite secluded allowing lots of privacy. Incredible local food which is prepared with love and only local ingredients (Pen and Han even grow their own rice and coffee!). A place which we definitely recommend to stay!
Serenity in a beautiful location!
Our beautifully appointed room had an amazing view, the food was delicious and Philip was a great host.
The day trip to nearby villages that Philip took us on was a fantastic experience too!
Plus easy access to the incredible Tham Lod caves....go late in the day to avoid day trippers and see the swifts arrive to roost.
