We had a lovely stay at L'Artisan.
The place is cosy and full of charm in a calm street, but what really made it special were the owners — so warm, thoughtful, and welcoming. You immediately feel at home.
The food was absolutely delicious, made with care and local ingredients. Every meal felt like a treat.
It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and we left with full hearts (and full stomachs!).
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet, heartfelt getaway with wonderful hosts.

TouTou was a wonderful host, and the guesthouse was fabulous. Tucked away in a quiet pedestrian backstreet, it was quiet.
He kindly glued the sole if my shoe, which had come partiall off.
My famous talking teddy bear, Bearsac, was so happy with the welcome biscuits that had his name on them!
The bedroom has an electric radiator and a towelling dressing gown if you feel a little chilly at night.
Situated within less than 1 km of Bhar Ezzebla Beach and a 4-minute walk of Sousse Great Grand Mosque, Dar Badiaa provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sousse.

Dar Badiaa is one of the nicest houses I have ever been to. It is a wonderful Andalusian dar that reminded me of dars and riads in Marrakesh. It is wonderfully preserved and restored with a lot of beautiful antiquities and details. The house is a true historical jewel! The room and the traditional Tunisian bed were comfortable. The bathroom is simple, but serves its purpose. The breakfast was more than good, with a variety of local Tunisian food freshly prepared by a nice breakfast lady. Dar Badiaa is situated in a lovely and authentic alley in the wonderful Medina of Sousse. I would always return there!
