She also helped us book our tickets for the ferry to go to green island as we don't speak Mandarin. The space is in a quiet neighborhood and is very clean. It is a few minutes away from the train station. A tasty breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, assorted breads and steamed buns is served every morning. Our host, who speaks English very well, helped us with so many things like arranging a rental car, giving us advice how to get to the islands near Taitung or even providing us some Aloe Vera soothing lotion after we got sunburnt. The rooms are clean and nice, with balconies and there is a fully ecquipped kitchen if you need it.
