The service was excellent. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The owner was very communicative which made the process very easy. Waking up on the lake was so peaceful!
A good location for a relaxing stay in Kabale, Amasiko Homestay Lake Bunyonyi is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake.

Everything is good there. I'm a nostalgic person so the stay was worth my liking. The remoteness makes it all comfortable. It cuts you off from the modern world and it's horrors.
The staff is so disciplined.
The hosts are really great people, when you visit it's like you have become apart of the family.
The cottages are really nice. Very well ventilated to keep out bugs.
The lake view is awesome.
Oh my God the food 😃
It's safe from dangerous animals and reptiles.
Star gazing is one of the must-do things while there, it's so beautiful.
I could go about it forever.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Lovely location right on the lake all rooms have a lake view. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Lots of activities to do in the area. Only accessible by boat, there is safe parking in the village, you have to walk to the boat so try not take a lot of luggage! So quiet too.
Great lodge at the lake. Pick up by boat from the harbour across the pensinsula where you can leave your car. Nice quiet place with amazing lake view. A boat tour is recommended. It shows you part of the lake and you visit one island where a school is located now. Friendly staff prepares meals and makes you feel welcomed.
Located in the penultimate house on a fairly high hill above Kabale, this accommodation is a hidden gem. You'll find a very quiet environment, a great view, a solid breakfast, spacious clean rooms with hot showers, good WiFi and a friendly small staff. The drive to the city centre won’t take you more than seven minutes.
Syria (sp?) is an exceptionally good host on a country where great hosts are the standard. Attentive to every detail, very informative and dedicated to helping both her clients and her local community. Extremely well done!!
Fortuna team is the nicest; very helpful and we had a lovely night all together around the firecamp!
It was my 2nd stay here and it feels like home.
On top of that food is delicious, place is very quiet but not too far from city center and beds are very comfy 👌
The staff of the guesthouse is super helpful and everyone is nice. The room and the other common spaces are clean and quiet, there is also a big balcony and a garden area if you want to chill. I tried the restaurant and I would say that you can get a good meal for 15.000-30.000 ugx, both local and international food. Don't expect a luxury resort but you will find everything you need for 1-2 days in Kabale.
The location and view were great. The personnel was very nice and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Didan is a great host and he can help you arrange tours and give great recommendations.
Overall it was a great experience. We would loved to stay more time.
The hostel is on the half island and has a nice view of the lake.
Owner and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Log fire in the evening. Cheap beer. Good dinner.
