Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Since it's a hostel I didn't expect much but it surprised me positively in every aspect. The room was nice and clean, more like a hotel rather than a hostel. Comfy beds, 2 windows and great bathroom - all we needed on the long journey from Saigon to Phu Quoc. It has a great location too, with many quality street food stalls, cafes, supermarket and ATMs. Even Superdong office is nearby. I was actually sad we didn't stay for longer than overnight, and I'd definitely stay there again.
For a 1 star hotel they were helpful. Room was big enough for 2 and clean. We stayed in a 2 star in Dalat and this place was way better. Location for us was good as it was close to the ferry. They also offer a free taxi service 8 times a day to the city centre.
Very welcoming and helpful on arrival, the receptionist booked our ferry to Phu Quoc for us. Room was very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated, and very good shower with toiletries in bottles as opposed to single use plastic sachets. We had use of a communal kitchen and fridge. Great location to catch the ferry, only 3 or 4 minutes walk, and in quite a quiet area of the town.
Cute, clean comfortable room (by Western standards). Sheets and towels all smelled fresh from the wash. Bathroom looked new, showers all roomey and clean. Felt safe. Modern facility. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Fresh bottle of water in the room, clean kitchen facilities. Wifi strong in the room, hot water. Family vibe!
Quiet and restful!
Great location for visiting Rach Gia or a quick stop over before getting the ferry to Phu Quoc like we did. Good size room, clean bathroom and good kitchen facilities. Receptionist Thi K was brilliant and upon arrival booked our ferry and emailed me the tickets straight away which made our life loads easier !! Good hostel which does what it says on the tin!!
Hostel is very conveniently located, just next to the harbour and city centre. Stuff is very nice and helpful. There is a kitchen available for guests, some books and board games. Room was clean and really pretty.
Great location, not far to walk from the ferry (approx 20min walk), lots of cheap places to eat outside, as its right next too the markets,
Real good value for money, the staff are really helpful, even though there is a language barrier,
I would certainly recommend this hotel & hope to be back soon.
the room was bigger than majority places I have had visit in this location. Not to mention it was in a quiet street so there isn’t any noise that bother you after long travelling. A bonus point to this they have hot water which is many other place is lack off. less than 5 mins walk to the ferries. and the owner is so superb that he help me carried my 50kg luggage down to the ferries. It much more cheaper than many place.
