When we arrived the staff and owner was very friendly and helpful.. Beautiful place very clean everything.. you need in the kitchen bed very comfy and the place felt like a home away from home.. Stayed at Wild Tree Lodge for 4 nights during a family visit. It was an ideal location for us to be near family, but is also well located for the airport and getting to other areas. I enjoyed the nearby Kosman Bird Sanctuary for morning runs. Security was good and the room and grounds were large and well appointed. We didn't get to use the pool as the weather wasn't great, but it was sparkling clean and had a nice area for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The staff were amazing, as were the breakfasts, with great choice and service. The area where meals were served next to the pool was lovely. We didn't have any evening meals there, but based on the breakfast, I'm sure these would have been great. Rooms had a small fridge and there is a kitchen area with a microwave and crockery and cutlery, so great if you just wanted to grab a ready meal, take away and self cater. It was also great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Felt like an authentic african lodge. Very comfortable twin suite was private courtyard with outside shower. Has a wonderful oval bath inside the room and I had two leisurely baths looking out onto the courtyard while it rained gently. Lovely pool in the main garden. Susan and Richard were excellent hosts. There is a boma if you want to braai and chill in the evenings and a great Texas BBQ place: Smoke and Fire about 10 mins away

There was an unexpected power outage in the area and the management were extremely apologetic even though it was out of their control. Unfortunately they consent use the generators as it would have been too noisy for the neighbour's
