The perfect guest house - location is perfect. It had everything I needed to make my stay in Cape Town comfortable and relaxing after a long day at the expo at CTICC. Stunning walk to Eden on Bay, couple of steps and you are on the beach. What more could one ask for.

Salt at first glance looked amazing. That is wjere the amazing part remained. The towels were old, torn and had a yellow residue on them. The bathmat was torn. There was a air freshner bottle...it was empty. The coach was dirty. During our stay they made the bed. Floor was not swept once. We had a litlle bottle wich was filled half way with milk. It was not re-filled. We had 1 teaspoon. There was a carpet that you had to avoid at all times, or you would trip over it. Breakfast was meant to be served from 07:30...when you arrived at 07:30 all you got was dirty kitchen. Kitchen staff only arrived at 07:45 and it was a scramble to set the "buffet". The staff was not friendly. It felt like we were intruding in their space. We checked out earlier, I don't think they even noticed. I would not recommend Salt to anyone.
