Everything was perfect. Maybe handrails in the showers for seniors?

Stayed over during a work trip. Facility was very clean and well maintained. Host was very friendly and accomodating. Although it is very central it was peaceful and could get a good nights rest. Would definitely recommend.

The Team are always accommodating. I had a colleague join me a for run before heading to a meeting and they accommodated him taking a shower and invited him to join for breakfast.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
We have stayed here often enough to feel at home. It’s a great location. Quiet and convenient. It’s also a beautiful property. Most important of all Jan is a consumate host. Even when down with a nasty flu he still delivers…
Excellent host, great location, very clean. The beautiful guest house has lots of additional space like balconies and beautiful gardens to relax in so you don't feel stuck in a room and the hosts live in seperate area so guests have full access to house without feeling like you intruding which I love. Excellent free WiFi!
Room was very well equipped. Appreciated the lovely small cool down pool after enjoying a couples massage and then the hot rock sauna. Great breakfast lunch and dinner at their restaurant. Slept exceptionally well on a quality bed with good bedding. Beautiful garden overlooking the mountain. Quiet area. Great host.
The guesthouse is an absolute gem, beautifully located in a quiet area but so close to restaurants that we were able to walk and very safely. The staff are quiet and are barely seen and Jan as the owner and host is beyond attentive.
He takes the time to get to know his guests and his breakfasts and attention to detail in the room is incredible.
Safe parking and beautiful yard add to the 10/10.
The facility and setup was awesome. Very relaxed and calm environment. The hosts (Madeline and her husband) were fantastic. She made great recommendations for family cafes and restaurants. My kids loved all of them.
The guest house is in a quiet and beautiful area. But at the same time it is a very short drive to everything (shopping, restaurants, etc.).
Would definitely recommend Avo&Oak if you are staying at George.
Jan is an outstanding host. The guest house is well appointed, superbly furnished and very quiet. Large bedroom, very comfortable double bed and modern bathroom.
Enjoyed our stay here and booked for next year. Great hosts and the apartment was very comfortable, lovely pool and a nice quiet area very central to town. Great outdoor area with a lovely braii, beautiful birdlife.
