My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Nest for one night, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty and cleanliness of the property. The attention to detail in the decor really made it feel like a special getaway.
The owners were incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience.
One of the highlights was the lovely swimming pool, which was a perfect escape from the heat of Marloth Park. We enjoyed a refreshing dip, and the pool area was beautifully maintained.
Overall, we highly recommend The Nest for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. It exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

The warm welcome by the owner set the tone. The friendly and super efficient staff kept us feeling welcome. The place is fully equipped and super clean. The beds are comfortable and ensure a good night's rest. The abundant wildlife (comprising wildebeest, giraffe, kudu, bushbuck, duiker, zerbra, bush baby, warthogs and many birds to mention a few) kept us entertained and came as close as three meters from where we sat. Even your car is kept safe under a carport.

I really was very pleasantly surprised with the room, common spaces, restaurant. I would highly recommend, I really mean 5/5 stars. Also excellent price for the quality of the stay, in particular I would highlight cleaning wise it was spotless. For those without car I would also add the JSL shuttle can drop off directly there which is very convenient if you wish to visit Kruger through Crocodile Bridge gate.
Providing garden views, Meerkat Manor in Komatipoort features accommodations, a garden, and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The place is exactly what we saw on the pictures, the cleanliness well equipped refreshing enviroment the braai area is very good seeing animals around was superb ,enjoyed the welcome wine💯BRAD N DEE are very welcoming an great hosts❤️❤️❤️❤️we definitely coming back
Right on the Crocodile River with a lot of game roaming around. Excellent outdoor braai/ boma facilities with plunge pool. Spacious fully equipped kitchen. Ice machine was a bonus. Fully serviced by Bheki who was a great host.
The house was comfortable and clean! Elaine is a wonderful host! The play area for the kids was awesome, it kept my kids busy for our entire stay! We had lots of animals visiting including some bush babies. The property is also in a great location, within walking distance of the river! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will definitely be back!
The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. It had a great location regarding Kruger. And it was fun to see all animals (giraffes, zebras, warthogs, monkeys, etc) so close to the cottage. Leon is really a great host. Lots of knowledge about the wildlife and South Africa. Fun to talk with! Really great place to stay near Kruger.
Very clean and well equipped. Great location, quiet and private, such a nice place to relax. Loved the pool and all of animal visitors (zebra, kudu, impala + a few others.) The hosts were very responsive and helpful - wish we could have stayed longer, highly recommend!
A beautiful modern studio apartment in a quiet part of the park. Kay & Ryan are great hosts that went out of their way to accommodate us and ensure that we were taken care of. The shower was lovely & hot with ample pressure. Lots of animals came to visit us. So nice to have at leat 3 trays of ice in the freezer... most places have 1 tiny one. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again
Great find. Room lovely and spacious, well maintained and Bernadette was a great host. The location was quiet with the game wandering through and the cries of fish eagles in the morning. Will definitely be back.
