The property was nice and clean, located about 1 hour outside of Mbombela, it’s surrounded by lush greenery. The dirt road leading to the property wasn’t so bad, we were able to drive on it comfortably with a sedan.

This is an amazing place. It is so unique that it brings you back in time. The bedroom was extraordinaire. The living room had a full bar with a beer tap. The fireplace made the place so cozy. It is hard to leave this place.

Both the owner and caretakers are very friendly and welcoming. We initially went for a budget room but later changed when we got there because the other room was so nice and private. It's one of those places u can just book for the whole weekend without going out or even getting bored. In short, we loved everything about the place.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Janet and John were great hosts. Everything at the property was as described. Great place to spend a night or two. Will be back if we are ever in Sabie again.
Nice location, rustic, warm and spacious accommodation. Very friendly and welcoming. Quiet during the night. You feel at home.
Host is such a good hearted person and just want the best for his guests.
Great location. Beautiful views. Excellent breakfast. Nice facilities. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Great hikes on the property. Close to town.
Very nice, quiet and comfortable accommodation. The host Karla is friendly and hospitable. The dogs wait for you every morning to play with them. Beautiful garden with the river Sabie where you can swim. The bicycle room was spacious and clean. The communal kitchen has everything you need, but you must bring your own basic ingredients if you want to prepare the food.
The apartment was very clean smelling fresh, the host was very friendly and Wi-Fi was very good. Backup lights during load shading. It was a home away from home. Value for money indeed. I love the place very quiet.
Sabie is a small town along the Panoramic route. The Sabie Guest house is located within walking distance of the Main Street. So the location is good and it was easy to walk to the small but good selection of restaurants there. The hosts are wonderful - warm, welcoming and want to ensure you have everything you need. It was quiet when we arrived so they kindly gave us a free room upgrade. The guest house itself is full of charm, very clean and well equipped. And finally, a great breakfast!
